An Insiders’ View of How Sales are Made at Premium Sales

And what better way to find out what’s involved than an insiders’ view from our Sales Executives themselves. We asked Savannah, Josh, and Clare some questions about their role here and some top tips they have learnt along the way.

In a sentence, briefly explain your role at Premium Sales.
Savannah- ‘My job role consists of researching and calling companies on behalf of customers to see if we can help assist with their business operations.’
Josh- ‘My role is to make the first introduction to potential ideal customers on behalf of our clients. First impressions are important!’
Clare- ‘My role at Premium Sales includes building rapport with prospects and customers, networking for companies and most importantly talking to people!’
How did you find settling into your role?
Savannah- ‘For me, it took a couple of weeks to fully understand my role, but after receiving help and guidance from my colleagues, I was able to fully settle in! You are constantly learning with this job, and I think knowing this is important and really helps you to not stress.’
Josh- ‘I settled in by just getting stuck in ASAP, getting on the phones and learning all of the systems. It really is a learning on the job role.’
Clare- ‘Settling into my role was easy. I have nearly 30 years’ experience and had a lot of help from the team and supervisors. Once I got to know the way in which Premium Sales works, I was straight into it.’
What are some top tips you have learnt along the way?
Savannah- ‘Definitely research the customer you are working on behalf of before calling prospects, as this is effective when booking appointments. Knowing your customer inside and out is a must and you will see the benefits of this straight away.’
Josh- ‘Never let a bad call get you down, just keep moving on. You will undoubtedly get bad calls. However, learn how to effectively move past these and make your next call your best call yet!’
Clare- ‘Be friendly, polite, and unbiased. You do not need to recite a script. Adding a bit of a human touch to your calls is a must – no one wants to feel like they are talking to a robot. I’d also say, make sure your notes are clear and precise and read any previous notes, so you are well-briefed before the call.’
What is your favourite part about working for Premium Sales Consultancy?
Savannah- ‘As clichéd as it is, the staff! Everyone has been so welcoming since I started back in September. I also like that no day is ever the same, be it working for a different customer, a new prospect you are speaking to or even the office life. We have lots of training, team meetings, fun work games.’
Josh- ‘The mixed selection of customers you can work for here at Premium Sales. There are so many different things to sell so it is hard to get bored!’
Clare- ‘The team and the banter make working in the office not feel like work at all. I also enjoy hitting my targets and the little added perks for it. Becky is a very thoughtful manager, and it really reflects onto everyone’s work ethic’.
